Every few months someone shows me a tool that scrapes all of social media. I ask one question.
"OSINT tools should be free."
The data is open. The work of turning it into something you can use, maintain and trust is not.
You can vibe code this in an afternoon.
You probably can build something that looks like it. That was never the hard part.
You can use AI in OSINT. Just audit it.
The objection to AI in investigations is mostly right. The conclusion usually isn't.
